General

The glasses communicate via Bluetooth with the Cosmo application, which sends it the data to be viewed. A micro-projector displays the information transparently on the right lens, in the upper part of the field of view.

The photochromic lenses tint in the sun, and the brightness sensor adjusts the intensity of the display, ensuring optimal contrast in all conditions.

The micro-USB port on the nose allows the glasses to be fully charged in about three hours, for a battery life of 12 hours.

It is asee-through display technology developed by the Grenoble startup Microoled. It combines electronics, firmware, optics, lens and a micro OLED display. A design that allows a high brightness HUD display to fit in a compact design, with unprecedented lightness and autonomy.

The Cosmo Vision can display:

GPS navigation (left - right guidance)distance traveled or remainingtime elapsed or remainingyour instantaneous or average speedthe road gradientthe active light mode of a Cosmo Ride (turn signals, warning, position)

We enrich the list of available data as we update it.

Augmented navigation is launched from the application. To view the directions, enter your destination and press "GO". The app calculates the route and sends the information to the glasses.

The data is projected onto the right lens. They appear in the upper part of the field of view.

In normal use, the autonomy is 12 hours in continuous use. If you only use a screen, it is possible to increase this time considerably by disabling the gesture sensor. They recharge completely in about 3 hours, through a micro-USB port located at the nose.

The Cosmo Vision has been designed and conceived for cycling as a priority, both in terms of design and application, but it can be used for other sports or leisure activities.

The Cosmo Vision comes with a case, a cleaning kit with cloth, a pouch and a cord.

Only one unisex version is available on this first model. It adapts to all morphologies thanks to the adjustable nose pads and flexible temples.

Comfort

Information is displayed via non-obtrusive technology in the upper portion of the field of view, projected transparently onto the right lens by a micro-projector. The photochromic lenses tint in the sun, and a brightness sensor adjusts the intensity of the display, constantly adjusting for optimal contrast.

The design of the glasses is designed to prevent fogging, thanks to the vents between the lens and the frame, which are particularly useful during more athletic sessions.

The glasses are IP54 certified, rain and dust resistant. They are equipped with Category 1 - 3 photochromic lenses that adapt to ambient light, so you can use the glasses tinted in the sun or clear at night. A brightness sensor built into the frame adjusts the intensity of the display in your field of vision.

On this first version, only one type of glasses is proposed, without visual correction. If you are astigmatic, you will see the AR display correctly.

This first version does not allow to wear the Cosmo Vision above corrective glasses. Several tracks are under study for a v2 adapted to everyone.

Cosmo Vision are available in Afflelou stores. Find the stores on the page Boutiques.

Use

Press the touch button located just above the nose for 3 seconds. They will then be detectable and the bluetooth association to the Cosmo application. Press again for a few seconds to turn off the glasses.

If your Cosmo Vision do not respond, perform a reset as described in the question "my glasses display is blocked, how do I restart them?"

A micro-USB port located at the level of the nose, charging the glasses in approximately three hours for an autonomy of 12h.

The application allows you to set the parameters of the glasses; brightness, screen position, activation/deactivation of the gesture and brightness sensors, choice of data to be displayed and order of the screens.

During a journey, the application sends the information that the glasses display by bluetooth connection.

Open the application and let yourself be guided, or go to "My Cosmo" then to the "Cosmo Vision" tab and click on "Add a device".

You will be asked to enable Bluetooth: allow.

The application also requires access to the device's location. We recommend that you always allow location for optimal performance. If you refuse, the glasses will not work.

For iOS versions, you will also be offered the choice "Allow only if the application is active".

Your glasses are compatible with the ActiveLook®ecosystem; you can use them with all applications bearing the label "Works with ActiveLook".

The information is personalized via the mobile application, so everyone can choose on their Cosmo app what information to display on their virtual dashboard.

To move the image in your field of vision, start by fine-tuning the physical setting of your Cosmo Vision:

1 - adjust the nose pads to raise or lower the optical system relative to your eye. Position yourself in front of a mirror: the pupil of your right eye should be in the same horizontal plane as the lens visible on the surface of the micro-projector. Use the nose pad adjustment to achieve this.

2 - adjust the tilt of the front of the glasses by rotating the angle of the temples, so that you can see the full image.

3 - adjust the flexible ends of the temples (top-bottom, left-right) to keep the glasses in the stable and comfortable position that suits you.

You can now fine-tune the image position from the application via My Cosmo > Configuration tab > Position.

This option is only available when your glasses are connected to the app.

Go to the Personalization menu of your Cosmo Vision (accessible from the My Cosmo menu). You will then be able to choose :

Your primary data: the data that will remain visible on the first line of your displayYour secondary data and their order of appearance: this is the data that you can scroll through on the second line of display. When you use a Cosmo connected light, you will also benefit from the display of the active light mode.

When using a Cosmo connected light, you will also benefit from the display of the active light mode. When driving with a route, your primary data will automatically change to show your navigation instructions.

Problem solving

Make sure your glasses are turned on and connected to the application (see how to add my glasses in the application?)

Once connected, the screen of the glasses can go into pause mode. It will not display any trip data. To start the display (re)launch a trip from the application by pressing "GO".

During the initial phase of data integration (capture of the GPS signal, stabilization of the data evaluated by the app) which lasts about 30 seconds, some information may not be displayed.

If your glasses get stuck and don't seem to respond or charge, or if the green LED on the module above the nose flashes continuously, you need

Your glassesYour micro-USB cableA power source (computer, adapter, etc.)

Then try plugging and unplugging your glasses several times until the LED stays on when the glasses are plugged in.

It is most likely disabled. After connecting your glasses to the Cosmo application:

Go to the "My Cosmo" menu,Select the configuration tab of your glassesEnable the gesture sensor.

If it is already activated and the sensor is still not working, try turning off your glasses and then turning them back on. If the problem persists, please contact customer service(support@cosmoconnected.com).

Make sure your Cosmo Vision is turned on: if the glasses turn off by themselves after a few seconds, or if they don't turn on at all, try plugging them in for a while before trying again.

Enable Bluetooth: When you launch the Cosmo app on your smartphone, a message should appear if it is disabled.

First time connection: once paired, your glasses will automatically connect to the app. If this is your first use, or if the glasses are no longer recognized:

Turn on the glassesOpen the Cosmo applicationIf the glasses are not automatically recognized and connected by the applicationReconnect your Cosmo Vision using either the "Status of my Cosmo" menu located at the bottom right of the main screen (with the map), or the "Details" tab of your Cosmo Vision (accessible from "My Cosmo")

Your glasses should then be recognized.

If you can't find your glasses after turning them on, try turning them off and on again. Also try shutting down the application on your phone, then restarting it. Follow the above steps again and see if it works.

If the problem persists, please contact Cosmo Connected Customer Service(support@cosmoconnected.com).

The sensor at the top of the left lens of your glasses takes into account the light around you to adjust the lighting of the screen. You can turn this feature on or off in the Cosmo app.

If the auto-brightness behaves abnormally (screen flickering, static brightness...)

Try disabling and re-enabling it in the "Configuration" tab of your Cosmo Vision (accessible from the "My Cosmo" menu). Also try turning the glasses off and on.If necessary, try closing the Cosmo Connected application and opening it again, then repeat the previous steps.

If the problem persists, please contact Cosmo Connected customer service(support@cosmoconnected.com).
